Climbing Toubkal (4.167m.)

Walking up a mountain of 4.000 meters high? Without special moutaineering experience ... Last minute opportunity. Starting sunday October 30 in Marrakech. A lovely and inspiring 8-day Atlas Mountain trek. Starting light and easy. Staying in comfortable Berberguesthouses and strolling through Berber villages and valleys. Every day you cross a higher pass to get into another valleY; good for acclimatisation to the altitude. During the trekking you visit the 'azib' (summer high altitude village) of Oukaïmeden (2.400m.) And after that you go for the summit of thé Toubkal !
And to make the Moroccan experience complete you can end up with a 2 day trip to the Sahara desert.
On sunday nov. 06 we organize a special last day in the mountains during the 'festival of sacrifice' ("Fête du mouton"). A special day to meet tradition and culture in the mountain village of Imlil.
On november 07 we start a 2-day trip to the Sahara desert near Zagora. Crossing the the High Atlas by the mountain pass Tizi-n-Tichka, than further on through the Anti Atlas mountains and along side the Drâa valley with it's oases with palm dates. From Zagora you make a camel trip and sleep in Berber tents in the middle of the desert. Enjoy the sunset and the sunrise.
The next day - tuesday november 08 - we take you back to Marrakech. The magic city where you can enjoy and get all your senses tingled. Just walk down the famous squaure Jemaa-El-Fna, go for a cooking workshop, discover the small alleys of the souks and buy and smell all kind of spices or go for a complete relax with a massage scrub in one of the luxurious or traditional hammam's (Moroccan bathing houses).
