Climbing Jebel Toubkal in winter

Get a kick out of climbing the highest peak of North Africa! Jebel Toubkal is the highest wit 4.167 m. / 13.671 ft. The walk to the summit is challenging but requires no moutaineering experience. The panoramic views on top make the hard work ... Starting in Marrakech the summit and return can be done in 3 days, speedy up. If you have more time take it ! With a trekking through Berber valleys you acclimitize and you can enjoy the colorful High Atlas mountains and the hospitality and traditions of the Berber people. In summer the summit is just a walk going up and up and up. Technical not difficult and no mountaineering experience is required. You just bring your good walking booth a good condition and a good spirit. In winter snow conditions make the use of crampons more safe to cross the icy parts early in the morning. Crampons can be hired in the village of Imlil for about € 5,- per day.
SPECIAL: join one of our small groups for an 8 day trip with a 6 day trek on Toubkal.
Departure: every Saturday,  the trekking starts on Sunday - you get back to Marrakech on Friday afternoon € 465,= p/p all in* incl. 2 nights hotel in Marrakech (B&B), transfer from and back to the airport, transfer to the mountains and back to Marrakech, a local guide walking with you, luggage transport on mules, all meals in the mountains, overnight stay in Berber guesthouses and 2x mountain hut). Extra: more nights in Marrakech in our standard hotel; double room € 50,- per night, single room € 40,- p/p per night
